Mary Antoinette Counsell (3 April 1914 – 22 July 1999), professionally known as Mary Kerridge, was an English actress and theatre director, who (with her husband, John Counsell) ran the Theatre Royal, Windsor and its in-house repertory company from the 1930s to the 1980s.

MEXICO CITY, April 3. -- The Federal Capital was ignorant to-day of the fall of Torreon before the rebel attack. None of the newspapers contained any intimation of the Federal defeat. On the contrary, all gave assurances that Gen. de Moure had won a great victory over the rebels near Torreon while the Constitutionalists were trying to prevent him and his army from joining Velasco.

JUAREZ, Mexico, April 3. -- After the hysterical outbursts last night that greeted the news of the fall of Torreon, this city was preternaturally calm today. It was the calm sleep after a fever, for anxiety over the issue of the campaign has been little less than a fever for the last week.
